About the Course |
Today hypnotherapy is practiced as a person centered psychotherapy which employs guided visualization and suggestion to achieve an altered state of consciousness called trance. Hypnosis is a natural state of the mind; it is a consent state which the person allows himself/herself to enter and is characterized by an increase in focused attention and concentration. The mind is said to be approximately 95% subconscious and 5% conscious. It is the subconscious mind we are mainly concerned with in hypnotherapy. You will be learning all about hypnotherapy.
